JHTS offers costing for audio transcription per recorded minute, because then you know how much your project will cost right from the outset.

Prices will be quoted for each individual project, starting low for clear, digital recordings of one to one interviews or straight dictation, and rising according to clarity, type of recording, level of verbatim required, and for focus group discussions.

Prices for transcription of written material are quoted either per 1000 words for plain text with minimal formatting, or per page with formatting, tabulation, etc.
